All my badges are made with three layers of cardstock to make them more rigid, laminated to protect from moisture/grease, and come with a badge clip.
Note: All current examples are from 2017-early 2018! General aesthetics will stay the same, but there will be minor stylization shifts to how I now draw- namely, there will be more spot blacks and sketchy hatching.

Shipping |
Depends on how I'm taking my queue at the moment of inquiry. I usually assign each client a completion date (most often within two weeks to one month of the inquiry), badges take one day to print & cut, with shipment of the badge the next work day.
|
Badges are shipped via USPS first class parcel unless otherwise requested and are shipped in padded mailers between cardboard. A tracking number is given to the client the day before I mail out the badge.
US Postage: $3.80, usually delivered in 3-5 days. Large delays are likely to happen through December-January due to holiday mail. Canada Postage: $10. Delivery time varies greatly, but generally expect it to arrive in a month. International Postage: $15. Like with CA, delivery time varies but can be expected to arrive in about a month. |

Badge Quick FAQ
Why is international shipping so expensive?
I have no idea ): I feel bad charging so much but it's not in my control. I've searched to see if there's any cheaper methods, and other than mailing it as a letter (which I will not do as 1. badges are rigid, and 2. unable to be tracked) what prices I am giving you are the cheapest I can currently find.
I want to commission a badge for a friend. Can you ship it to them?
No problem, just make sure you tell me in your inquiry and give me the correct address.
Can I commission badge art from you, but not order printing? What if I want to have it printed at a later date?
Yup to both! Make sure you hold onto the full size file I deliver when I finish your com, though. I cannot promise I will still have the full size file or .PSD after everything is complete.
I have badge art from someone else but can't print it myself. Could I commission you to print it for me?
Yup! I just charge printing/cutting and shipping fee. Standard cutting fee is $10, but jumbo badges (over 5.25") cost an additional +$4. If you need multiple badges printed at the same time I may be willing to cut a small discount.
Can I commission badge art from you but have someone else print it?
Sure. Obviously I prefer if you commission me for the printing service, but I totally allow going to someone else to print the art or even doing it yourself. If you print it through some specialty thing (like on fancy plastic or something) I'd love to see the end result!
I need my badge before a certain convention date. Can you turn it around before then?
Depends on how soon the needed date is and how far away you live from me (GA, USA). Shipping is also out of my control and if it's late due to the mail service, there's nothing I can do.
Please let me know immediately if you need the badge before a certain date. I will let you know up front if its possible or not. If you need a rush job (say, within 2 weeks of the con) and I accept it, I'll do everything in my power to get it out as fast as possible but will charge a rush fee of +$10 and cannot guarantee it will arrive in time once the badge is in USPS' hands.
My badge hasn't arrived and its way over the estimated delivery date. What do I do?
Please contact me!
First, check the shipping address you gave me. Is it correct? I normally ask clients if their paypal address is correct before I buy the mailing slip. If it is incorrect, there's not really much I can do. If it's undeliverable, it should eventually return to my address and I can ship it out to the correct address, but the client must pay for the new shipping. If it was delivered to the wrong address and isn't returned, there's not really anything I can do and the client will need to pay the printing and shipping fee again so I can make a new badge and send it to the correct address. If I discover that a shipping mistake was made on my part, I will remake/ship the badge with no fee to the client.
If it seems to have gotten lost, I will contact the post office and see where we can go from there.
My badge arrived damaged or of inferior quality. What do I do?
Badges damaged during transit may be subject to compensation via USPS- just be sure to send me clear photos of the package and the badge so I can forward them. After settling with USPS, I will reprint and ship a new badge for you.
If the damage seems to be caused by me (packaging error, a hair trapped in the plastic, lamination edge popping, etc) please show me and I will reprint and send a replacement at no cost to you! As each of these are handmade, little slip ups happen from time to time and I'm always willing to correct them.
